The first day I exhibited art at Volcano Gallery West, a visitor remarked my work would look great in a journal. The next weekend she brought someone from the bay area, and they both agreed my work would be perfect for the cover.
Three weeks later... I received an email from the University of San Francisco, editor for ... can you believe?...the Journal of Psychoactive Drugs... what would you think if it was you?!
Needless to say I was surprised.... and with a quick response...
"UNTAMED" is on the July/August 2018 cover for the Journal of Psychoactive Drugs. Upon speaking with a psychiatric expert, I learned it is a highly reputable (and expensive) journal... which originated in Haight Ashbury... as the Journal of Psychedelic Drugs.
