"Cutting Edge" on granite, is a unique blend of stone with layered textures of oil paint and cold wax.  A tractor blade formed the rugged edges against a large wooden beam.  The piece was then sand blasted by the artist, Ree McLaughlan Brown.  The vivid colors, texture, and abstract landscape are typical of her uncommon style.  Add to this a composition that leads us into the painting with energy and motion.
