Using iridescent acrylic layered over oil paint with cold wax, I explored how light shifts across surfaces and time, weaving together moments of past and present into a single, vibrant space.

This work offers an open space to engage with movement and stillness, warmth and coolness, light and shadow—a balance that encourages viewing beyond the surface.

Sunset Trailblaze holds a quiet, powerful energy that asks not just to be seen but felt. It was created upon feeling the beauty and warmth of the island and people on Haleakala, Maui.
